Youth hacked to death over past enmity in Keonjhar

Keonjhar, June 25: In an unfortunate incident, a youth was allegedly hacked to death by another youth over past enmity in Khasapada village under Daitari police limits in Keonjhar district. The deceased youth has been identified as Chaitanya Tanti (25), son of Biju Tanti of the same village. Reportedly, the accused youth Prahllada Dehuri of Alutama village attacked Chaitanya with a sharp weapon at midnight when he was sleeping in his brother-in-law's house. Following the attack, Chaitanya died on the spot. Being informed by the family members of the deceased, police have arrested Prahllada from Brahmanipala. It has been suspected that a triangular love story was there behind their enmity. However, the exact reason is yet to be known.
