Youth dies of electrocution while removing electric bulb in Odisha’s Balangir

Balangir, Aug 28: In a tragic incident, a youth reportedly died of electrocution while removing an electric bulb at a Ganesh mandap in Turekela area of Odisha’s Balangir district.
The deceased has been identified as Durje Bhati (24) and the incident has been reported from Ghunesh village under Turekela police limits in the district.
As per reports, Durje suffered an electric shock at around 10 pm on Wednesday while removing an electric bulb at a Ganesh mandap and collapsed. Thereafter, he was immediately rushed to Turekela Hospital in critical condition, where the attending doctors declared him dead.
Upon getting the information, police arrived at the spot and seized the body. Subsequently, it was sent for post-mortem.
A pal of gloom descended on the village following the tragic incident.
