Youth dies after scooter falls off bridge in Koraput

Koraput, Nov 26: In a tragic mishap, a youth was allegedly killed after his scooter fell off a bridge due to dense fog near Dabuguda village in Lamtaput block of Koraput district on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Sharat Chandra Sisha of Khinimunga village in Nandapur block. According to the report, Sharat was going to Jeypore College on his scooter. However, his scooter hit a tree due to low visibility and dense fog. Subsequently, he fell off a 20-feet high bridge and succumbed to the injuries on the spot. Being informed, Ranitota police reached the spot and recovered the body. Further investigation is underway to find out other details, said a police official.
