Bhubaneswar, May 20: A drone was seen flying over the Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar yesterday raising serious security concerns.
According to reports, the drone hovered above the 11th-century temple for about 15 minutes, between 5:15 pm and 5:30 pm. Several servitors of the shrine noticed the device and immediately alerted the Lingaraj Police about the incident.
The Lingaraj Temple is classified as a high-security zone, with police personnel regularly stationed around the premises. Strict restrictions are in place regarding the use of drones in and around the temple area, as enforced by the Commissionerate Police.
Authorities are now investigating the incident to determine the source and intent behind the drone's presence in the restricted zone.
