Yellow warning issued in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Ap 5: Heat wave conditions prevailed in many parts of Odisha on Friday, with the mercury crossing the 40 degrees Celsius mark.

According to the Regional Centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Bhubaneswar, a yellow warning has been issued for heat wave conditions in several districts including Nayagarh, Boudh, Kandhamal, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Malkangiri, Koraput, and Dhenkanal.

These alerts signal the potential for extreme heat, urging residents to take precautions to stay safe during the upcoming heatwave.

Local authorities have urged residents to stay hydrated, prolonged exposure to the sun, and ensure proper ventilation.
