Cuttack, May 22: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha has extended the Class-X evaluation process for a week due to the anticipated cyclone Yaas. The BSE has issued a letter to the District Education Officers (DEO) in this connection on Friday. According to it, The dateline for uploading marks in the BSE website has been extended from May 31 to June 7. Concerned schools would submit the evaluation records of Class-IX and Class-X with their mentor schools prettily before it. Similarly, the last date for tabulation of marks have been extended by four days. Thus, the head of the institutions can submit the detailed valuation sheets at the end of mentor schools by May 28 instead of May 24. On the other hand, the expected date of publication of Class-10 result that was scheduled on June 30 may linger for more than a week, said a BSE official. Notably, the BSE is going to conduct assessment based evaluation of Class-X students since Metric examination had been postponed due to the second wave of Corona.
