Bhubaneswar, Sept 15: Two women have lost their lives while saving their hubbies. One has been shot dead when she endeavoured to save her spouse from his assassin while another lost her life falling off the hospital bed while attending to her husband. The two incidents have taken place in Odisha’s Nuapada and Koraput districts on Thursday. The deceased who sacrificed their lives for their dear partners are Kumudini Sabar, a native of Ganiapada village in Nuapada, and Sabitri Jani who hails from Jeypore in Koraput. Sources said that Sarat Sahu and Kumudini had tied their knots over 22 years. They were blessed with two sons and were living a happy life. However, Wednesday night became the last night for Kumudini as she was shot dead by one Lilambar Suna while she was saving his husband from his assassin. Similarly in another incident that was reported from Jeypore,Rajendra Sahu was under treatment in Jeypore hospital for surgery on his leg. His wife Sabitri was attending him remaining beside the hospital bed. Last night she had slept alongside his hubby on the same bed out of exhaustion. Meanwhile, she fell off the bed and died on the spot. Following this, a grievous atmosphere descended in the hospital which later became the talk of the time.
