Baripada, Nov 21: A woman has allegedly hacked her husband to death in Karanjia town of Mayurbhanj district on Saturday night.

As per sources, the woman attacked her husband with an axe after a quarrel ensued between the couple on Saturday night.

The man succumbed to the injuries at the spot.

The Karanjia police reached the spot and arrested the accused woman.

The police started its investigation with the help of a forensic team and have sent the body to the Karanjia sub-divisional hospital for post-mortem.
