Soro (Balasore), 29/11: A woman from Jharkhand was reported missing from the bus by jumping from it in late night. The missing woman has not been traced yet though her husband has been searching for her since November 13 night. {"id":21185,"sizeSlug":"large"} According to reports, Biswanath Murmu, a resident of Chaldhua village under Balia police station in Dhanbad district of Jharkhand had come to Cuttack on November 10 for treatment of cleft lip problem of his six year-old daughter Istri Kumari. He was also accompanied by his wife Shanti. Earlier, he had contacted Pradip Raobani, the agent belonging to Amtal area of Dhanbad, relating to the treatment. But as the treatment could not be done on the appointed date for some reasons, he was returning home through a Tata-bond bus on November 11 night. The bus stopped at Dahisada near Soro as the passengers went to attend nature’s call. When Biswanath had alighted from the bus for the same purpose, his wife fled away jumping off the bus window, said the driver. Then Biswanath, the bus driver and staff and co-passengers searched for her. But in vain. Biswanath stayed back to lodge a missing report in the local police station. Despite Soro police’s search at several places, the missing woman could not be traced. Balia police and Sindri MLA Phulchand Mandal have requested Soro police to conduct probe about the disappearance of woman and trace her.
