Telkoi, 30/11: Panic spread in Telkoi area as  a woman died in Tangiri village under Telkoi forest division in Keonjhar district in tusker attack.

According to reports, two women, Suhagi and Phulamani Juang had been to nearby forest under Krushnapur range today morning to collect fuel wood and mushroom. They ran away seeing the elephant. However, Suhagi’s saree got stuck in a tree branch. The tusker rushed near Suhagi, lifted her and threw her up, As a result, she died on the spot.

Phulmani rushed to the village and informed the villagers about the tusker attack. On being informed, forest personnel reached the spot and sent the body for post mortem.
