Angul: The post-mortem report of the woman who was killed at Hatibari under Tikarapada range in Satkosia Tiger Reserve of Angul revealed that she died due to an attack by wild animal.
However, there is no clarity on whether it was tigress Sundari or some other animal, informed sources.
Notably, tension ran high in Satkosia area after the woman, identified as Kailashi Soya, was allegedly killed by the tigress SUndari at Hatibari under Tikarapada range in Satkosia forest on Wednesday.
The 27-month-old Sundari was released into the Satkosia Tiger Reserve on August 17 to increase the population of the big cat in the sanctuary.
Following the death of the woman, the locals had staged demonstration and torched forest beat houses demanding immediate shifting of the tigress to Bandhavgarh National Park in Madhya Pradesh.
Meanwhile, two teams of forest officials from Dehradun in Uttarakhand and Bandhavgarh National Park are taking stock on the movement of Sundari in Satkosia.
