West Indies Tour: BCCI appoints OCA member as manager of Indian Team

Cuttack, Sept 28: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) appointed Jugal Kishor Samal, a member of Odisha Cricket Association (OCA), as the manager of the Indian Men’s Cricket Team for the upcoming West Indies Tour of India 2025.

The OCA announced the development on Saturday.

It is worth noting that the two-match Test series will kick off on October 2, 2025, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, with the second Test scheduled for October 13, 2025, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

Fans are eagerly anticipating the matches, especially following the excitement of the Asia Cup 2025.

Samal, a seasoned cricket administrator, has previously served as a BCCI Observer for an ODI match and has held multiple terms as Manager of the Odisha Ranji Trophy Team. His extensive experience and long-standing involvement in cricket management are considered key factors behind his selection for this important role.
