New Delhi, June 21: People are proud of the fact that India has developed indigenous Covid vaccines. They expressed faith and confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. We have to make vaccination a Jan Andolan, said Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday. “We are happy that the Modi government is steering the free vaccines for all campaign. We have to make vaccination a Jan Andolan,” said Pradhan. He urged everyone to get vaccinated, help eradicate vaccine hesitancy by countering rumours and also encourage other people to get vaccinated free of cost. Together, we will defeat Covid-19, he said. From today pre-registration on the Co-Win platform is not mandatory. On-site registrations and walk-ins are being encouraged to provide hassle-free Covid jabs. This step will further make Syringe vaccines more accessible to all sections of society, especially to the poor & vulnerable, Pradhan added. The Union Minister today visited the CGHS Dispensary in Sarojini Nagar on the occasion of the world’s largest free vaccination campaign that began from today. The Centre is providing free vaccines for all above 18 years of age.
