Bhubaneswar, Mar 11: She got so much ecstatic when the rain drops fell on the hot and dry Karanjia forest which was burning for the last few days that she started dancing. A video has gone viral on social media platforms, where a woman forest official can be seen dancing after an unseasonal shower brings relief to forest fires in Similipal. On Thursday, light rainfall reported in some parts of Udala and Kaptipada blocks. Baripada, Karanjia and other places in the district experienced moderate rain with hailstone that continued for around half an hour. Forest authorities were on their toes for the last many weeks to avert forest fires that are usually reported in summer. .
