Athagarh, Mar 2: A youth had to beg before a girl touching her feet to forgive him for harassing her passing lewd comments. The incident was reported in Athagarh area of Cuttack district. According to reports, the youth used to harass a girl on her way to college by passing lewd comments and showing obscene gestures. When his harassment went beyond patience, the girl narrated the ordeal before her family members. Locals and her family members nabbed the youth and handed him over to Tigiria police. The accused was found to be a minor. Later, family members of both the accused and the victim decided to forgive him as he was a minor for which he had to beg before the girl by touching her feet to forgive him. The accused realized his mistake and touched the girl’s feet to forgive him.
