Cuttack, June 25: In an unusual incident, the walls of the newly constructed building of Cuttack Sishu Bhavan collapsed on Wednesday amid lash of rain.
Though, no casualty was reported, many a vehicles especially two-wheelers came under the rubbles and were crushed severely.
According to reports, a wall of the Sishu Bhavan (3rd floor) collapsed all of a sudden while a heavy shower was lashing the twin city in the afternoon.
Patients, attendants and locals were panicked as the wall collapsed with a tremendous sound spreading massive dust and debris in a large area.
The reason behind the incident is yet to be investigated. However, it’s alleged that the mishap took place due to substandard construction.
