Bhubaneswar: Rural Development, Labour and ESI Minister Sushant Singh on Friday criticized the BJP-led NDA for not giving due share to western Odisha in the Narendra Modi-led Union Ministry which was sworn in at the Rashtrapati Bhawan yesterday.
“Western Odisha has once again been neglected by the BJP. Though the party has won in more than five Parliamentary constituencies in the region, still not a single MP was inducted in the Union Ministry,” said Singh, who is an MLA from the western part of the State.
He claimed that there has been a good representation from western Odisha in the Naveen Patnaik-led Ministry in the State.
