Villager critical in jumbo attack in Dhenkanal

Bhubaneswar: In another incident of man-animal conflict, a villager was critically injured in an elephant attack at Bhaliabola Kateni village in Dhenkanal district early this morning.
The injured, identified as Jatia Behera, was first rushed to a local hospital and then to the Dhenkanal District Headquarter Hospital (DHH) as his condition was serious. He is undergoing treatment in the DHH now.
According to reports, Jatia had gone to his buffalo shed when he was attacked by a jumbo. A state of fear has prevailed in the area following the incident.
