Sambalpur, Feb 16: A 60-year-old man from Khetarajpur area of Sambalpur district paddled his sick son for around six km on a trolley after he failed to hire an auto-rickshaw to take his son to a hospital.
The incident reported on Monday has now become the talk of the town.
According to reports, Gopal, son of the 60-year-old man Chaitanya Bag fell sick while he was working in Dhanupali area. However, his master did not arrange a vehicle to rush Gopal to a hospital. On the other hand, Bag could not find a private vehicle due to the bandh observed by Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee protesting against hike in fuel prices on Monday morning.
With no option left, the victim’s father paddled his sick son for around six kms on a trolley.
The incident, came to fore after a video was made viral on the social media platform.
