Bhubaneswar, June 23: Vice President of India C. P. Radhakrishnan will undertake a one-day visit to Odisha on July 9, during which he is scheduled to participate in several official and social engagements in Bhubaneswar.
The Vice President will attend a programme hosted by the Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT). Odisha Governor, Chief Minister, and Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan are also expected to be present at the event.
Sources said the Vice President will take part in a series of important programmes in the State capital and is likely to interact with distinguished personalities from various fields.
Ahead of the high-profile visit, the state administration has stepped up preparations across Bhubaneswar. Concerned departments have been instructed to ensure seamless arrangements at all venues, while security agencies are enhancing measures to facilitate the Vice President's tour.
