Veteran theatre artist Ramachandra Pratihari passes away

Puri: Veteran theatre artist Ramachandra Pratihari passed away today. He was 87.
The artist was felicitated with several awards, including the prestigious Jayadev Puraskar and Odisha State Film Award. He was also a servitor at the Jagannath temple, Puri.
He had an immense weakness for stage acting.
Pratihari was one of the most prominent names that emerged from the Annapurna Theatre in Puri. He made his debut in Ollywood in the film ‘Nua Bou’ in which he played a role of an elder brother of veteran actor Prashant Nanda. Later, he acted in the film ‘Nilamadhaba’.
