Mumbai, Jan 7: Veteran actor and former MP Dharmendra took to his Instagram handle to share the reel unveiling the invitation to the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2022. In his caption, Dharmendra wrote: “Friends, with love to you all, I’m delighted to unveil the mesmerising invitation to India’s most prestigious awards ceremony, Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2022, in affiliation with incredible India and Zee5.” Dharmendra mentioned the Dadasaheb Phalke Worldwide Movie Competition (DPIFF) was first held in 2012 and had been “applauded” by the Prime Minister’s Workplace and the ministries of Tradition and Tourism. He also identified that the pageant and awards carry ahead the legacy of Dhundiraj Govind Phalke, “lovingly generally known as Dadasaheb Phalke, the Father of Indian Cinema”. He concluded by claiming that it was India’s “solely impartial worldwide movie pageant, with a mission to have fun three broad segments of cinema and the work of aspiring, younger, impartial {and professional} filmmakers”. " This yr the occasion is on twentieth February 2022 at Mumbai. It’s India’s solely impartial worldwide movie pageant, with a mission to have fun three broad segments of cinema & work of aspiring, younger, impartial & skilled filmmakers. I want the occasion a grand success,” he added.
