Puri, Aug 19: Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Thursday said Vande Bharat Express train will connect Puri in Odisha. During his visit to the pilgrim town, Vaishnaw said Vande Bharat Express train will connect Puri soon. “The Puri railway station development work is underway and bringing Vande Bharat Express to Puri is on the cards,” said Vaishnaw. During the Independence Day address from the ramparts of the Red Fort, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that 75 Vande Bharat Express trains will connect every corner of the country in 75 weeks of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’. Vande Bharat Express is India’s first semi high speed train that boasts several world class passenger amenities. The state-of-the-art train set has various ultra modern features and facilities.
