Bhubaneswar: Urja Verma and Somnath Soumya Ranjan Subudhi edged out Aafia Mohsin and Zaid Khan emerged champion in the senior girls and boys categories respectively in the 7^th Odisha State Inter School Table Tennis Championship 2026, which concluded at Biju Patnaik Multipurpose Indoor Hall at Cuttack on Monday.

Similarly, Sweta Verma and Ayushman Pati defeated Aradhya Sahoo and Aryasnsh Prasad Singh by 3-0 and 3-2 in the Junior girls and boys final categories respectively.

With the conclusion of all the events of the State Inter-School Championship, the YGTTA State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament commenced today which will continue till 12th of August -2026.

Around 370 participants from 19 different districts, institutions, and organizations are participating in 12 different categories.

Final results:

1. Junior Girls Singles: Champion: Sweta Verma (Guru Nanak Public School, Katak) beat Aradhya Sahoo (BJEM, BBSR) by 3-0 games

2. Junior Boys Singles: Champion: Ayushman Pati (DPS, Kalinga) beat Aryasnsh Prasad Singh (Prabhujee English Medium School, BBSR) by 3-2 games

3. Senior Girls; Singles: Champion: Urja Verma (Revenshaw Higher Secondary) beat Aafia Mohsin (Shailabala Higher Secondary, Katak) by 3-0 games

4. Senior Boys Singles: Champion: Somnath Soumya Ranjan Subuddhi (Govt High School, Saheed Nagar, BBSR) beat Zaid Khan (New Stewart School, Katak) by 3-0 Games.
