Bhubaneswar, Mar 26: The most crowded market of Bhubaneswar city Unit - I Market will be shifted temporarily to the stretch between AG square and Rajmahal square as a precautionary measure to avoid huge gathering amid coronavirus pandemic. Some shopkeepers will also be allowed to sell their products at Unit - I High School playground. It is a temporary arrangement for 45 days only, with an aim to avoid coronavirus infection during shopping of essential goods in the capital city by maintaining social distancing, said a senior official of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation. The decision has been taken following huge rush to the market during the ongoing lockdown, the official added.
