Bhawanipatna, Oct 20: In a tragic road accident, a man and his nephew were killed after their motorcycle plunged off a bridge near Chakuli Chhak under Junagarh police station limits in Odisha’s Kalahandi district. The deceased have been identified as Naresh Naik and Pradeep Naik, residents of Palas village under Junagarh police station.

According to reports, the uncle-nephew duo was returning home on a Pulsar motorcycle after watching a Jatra performance at Habaspur late last night. While on their way back, they reportedly lost control of the motorcycle, causing it to plunge off a bridge. Both died on the spot.

Upon receiving information, Junagarh police recovered the bodies and sent them to Junagarh hospital for post-mortem examination.

The tragic incident has cast a pall of gloom over Palas village, with residents mourning the untimely deaths of the two family members.
