Bhubaneswar, Mar 6: Uncertainty erupted over Jagannath Temple deposits after the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) placed restrictions on Yes Bank on Thursday. The temple has Rs 545 crore deposits in the bank. Shares of Yes Bank have fallen sharply on the stock market a day after the RBI superseded the board of the troubled private lender with immediate effect and placed it under a 30-day moratorium. It has also appointed former State Bank of India CFO Prashant Kumar to pull the bank out of crisis. On the other hand, panicked Yes Bank customers rushed to ATMs after the withdrawal limit was capped to Rs 50,000 even if they have multiple accounts.
