Bhubaneswar, May 9: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the application deadline for the UGC NET June 2025 examination until May 12, following a surge in student interest. Initially set to close yesterday (Wednesday), the extension provides candidates with more time to complete their applications.
In accordance with the revised schedule, applicants will be able to submit their online application fees by May 13. The correction window for application forms will be open on May 14 and 15.
The UGC NET examination is slated to take place between June 21 and June 30, 2025.
The application fee structure is as follows:
General category: ₹1150
General-EWS/OBC-NCL: ₹600
SC, ST, and Third Gender: ₹325
The UGC NET is a mandatory qualification for those aspiring to apply for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor roles in universities and colleges, and PhD admissions.
