Two more pairs of special trains to remain cancelled for poor occupancy

Bhubaneswar, May 14: In view of poor occupancy and keeping in view the surge of Covid-19 positive cases and to break the chain of infection, East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to cancel two more pairs of Express Special trains from both the directions, as per the following. 01. 08493/08494 Bhubaneswar-Balangir-Bhubaneswar Special from both the directions on 15th, 16th, 22nd & 23rd May, 2021 will remain cancelled. 02. 08561/08562 Visakhapatnam-Kacheguda-Visakhapatnam Special from Visakhapatnam from 14th May to 31st May and from Kacheguda from 15th May to 1st June, 2021 will remain cancelled. Earlier, East Coast Railway had announced cancellation of four pairs of Special Express Trains in view of poor patronization and to break the chain of Covid19 infection. These trains are _ 02866/02865 Puri-LTT-Puri Weekly Special Express, 02880/02879 Bhubaneswar-LTT- Bhubaneswar bi-weekly Special Express, 07488/07487 Visakhapatnam-Cuddapah-Visakhapatnam daily Express Special and 02831/02832 Visakhapatnam-Lingampalli-Visakhapatnam daily Express Special.
