Keonjhar, Mar 5: Two minor brothers drowned in a pond while playing at Arsala village under Jhumpura police limits in the district today. The deceased siblings have been identified as Arkam Ansari (13) and Arhan Ansari (11), both sons of M D Ansari, a resident of Arsala village. According to the locals, both the siblings were playing near a pond of the village when they fall inside the pond due to carelessness. Subsequently, they drowned as the water was deep. On the other hand, when both did not return home on time the family members started searching for them and found their bodies floating in the pond. They rescued them with the help of some locals and took them to Jhumpura hospital where the doctor declared them bought dead. On being informed the police reached the hospital and initiated a probe into the matter.
