Two BJD members arrested for thrashing BJP, JMM activists in Mayurbhanj

Mayurbhanj, Oct 23: At least two BJD members were arrested for allegedly thrashing BJP and JMM activists during Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s Mayurbhanj visit. The police have registered four cases in this connection. Sources said a scuffle broke out after two activists of JMM and BJP attempted to show black flags to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik near the helipad when they were chased and attacked by the ruling party workers. The duo had sustained multiple injuries on the face and was immediately escorted out from the spot.
