Sambalpur, Feb 20: As many as two persons have been arrested for allegedly forging admit card of the annual Odisha State Open School matriculation examination in Sambalpur.
The incident was reported from the Commissioner Colony High School at Dhanupali here.
The Dhanupali police said that one Kamala Seth was to appear in the examination for Laxmi Meher (28). The duo had changed the name and picture in the admit card to hoodwink the invigilator.
Centre Superintendent Binati Mishra caught Kamala red-handed and informed the Dhanupali police. A case was registered under IPC Sections 419, 420, 468, 471 with Section 9 of the Orissa Conduct of Examination Act-1998.
The duo was arrested after investigation, the police added.
