Jajpur: Nov 28: Truckers have staged protest over Tehsildar’s enforcement in Jajpur on Sunday. Dharmasala Tehsildar landed in trouble after hundreds of truck drivers staged a roadblock at Chadheidhara square on NH-53 in the afternoon. Sources said, Dharmasala Tehsildar Swagat Das undertook a challan checking of minor minerals. Meanwhile, a driver complained of misbehave by the Tehsildar. Reacting on it, hundreds of drivers agitated over the rude behave of the Tehsildar and carried a roadblock at the Chadheidhara square.Subsequently, they staged a protest before the local police outpost demanding action against the erring officer. However, the protest was subsided after police and district officials sorted out the matter amicably.
