Bhanjanagar, Oct 18: Two persons were critically injured after an iron rod-laden truck overturned in Kalinga Ghati on the Ganjam-Kandhamal border last night.

The injured, identified as driver and helper of the vehicle, were admitted to Bhanjanagar hospital and later were shifted to MKCG Hospital in Berhampur city.

The truck was on its way to Andhra Pradesh carrying iron rod from Sambalpur.

 It is suspected that the driver lost control over the wheels after the brakes failed.
