Bhubaneswar, September 26: Train services in Rayagada Division of East Coast Railway (ECoR) have been affected due to landslide between Maligura and Chhatariput stations. As a safety precaution and to facilitate restoration work in the affected section, the ECoR have cancelled six trains and services of some trains have been short-terminated and short-originated.
According to an ECoR statement, Train No. 18107 Rourkela–Jagdalpur Express will remain cancelled on September 26.
Following six trains to remain cancelled on September 27
• Train No. 58502 Kirandul–Visakhapatnam Passenger
• Train No. 58501 Visakhapatnam–Kirandul Passenger
• Train No. 18516 Kirandul–Visakhapatnam Express
• Train No. 18515 Visakhapatnam–Kirandul Express
• Train No. 18108 Jagdalpur–Rourkela Express
• Train No. 18107 Rourkela–Jagdalpur Express
Trains Short-Terminated/Short-Originated
Train No. 18005 Howrah–Jagdalpur Express, which commenced its journey from Howrah on September 25, 2026, will be short-terminated at Koraput. The service between Koraput and Jagdalpur will remain cancelled.
Train No. 18006 Jagdalpur–Howrah Express, scheduled to commence its journey from Jagdalpur on September 27, 2026, will be short-originated from Koraput. The service between Jagdalpur and Koraput will remain cancelled.
Train No. 18447 Bhubaneswar–Jagdalpur Hirakhand Express, which commenced its journey from Bhubaneswar on September 26, 2026, will be short-terminated at Koraput. The service between Koraput and Jagdalpur will remain cancelled.
Train No. 18448 Jagdalpur–Bhubaneswar Hirakhand Express, scheduled to commence its journey from Jagdalpur on September 27, 2026, will be short-originated from Koraput. The service between Jagdalpur and Koraput will remain cancelled.
In addition, Train Nos. 22839/22840 Bhubaneswar–Rourkela–Bhubaneswar Intercity Express will remain cancelled on September 27, 2026, due to delay arrival of the linktrain.
The ECoR advised the passengers to check the status of their respective trains before commencing their journey and plan their travel accordingly.
