Deogarh, May 12: The vehicular traffic movement came to standstill on Vijaywada-Ranchi National Highway (NH) after a freight truck rammed into a bullock cart killing two bullocks and injuring four persons travelling on it in the Deogarh district.

As per reports, the incident took place near Asanpal village within Kundheigola police limits this morning when the injured persons were going to collect firewoods.

The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for medical aid.

Following the mishap, tension prevailed in the area as the locals blocked the NH due to which the vehicular traffic movement was halted.
