Tokyo Olympics: Boxer Lovlina Borgohain assures medal for India

Tokyo: India's wait for a second medal at the Tokyo Olympics has finally come to an end after boxer Lovlina Borgohain entered into the semi-final of the women's welterweight category. Lovlina Borgohain defeated Chen Nien-chin (4-1) of Chinese Taipei in Women’s welterweight (69kg) quarterfinal at Tokyo Olympics 2021. This win will assure a medal for Lovlina and team India.
