Exit poles predict tough fight between BJP and TMC in Bengal

New Delhi, April 29: Mamata Banerjee led TMC is likely to win Bengal polls with around 150 seats, predicted various exit polls. BJP is also likely to give a good fight in Bengal with most of the exit polls predicting more than 100 seats to the saffron party. As per As per Jan Ki Baat survey, Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress (TMC) is expected to win something between 104-121 seats, whereas BJP will get 162-185 while Poll of polls has predicted TMC of winning149 seats and BJP of 160 seats. Similarly the Republic-CNX polls gave the BJP a slight edge by projecting 138-148 seats for the party in the 294-seat assembly and 128-138 to the TMC. Similarly exit polls predicted incumbent Left-led LDF front is likely to retain power in Kerala while the polls predicted a sweep for the opposition DMK and its allies in Tamil Nadu.
