Titli impact: IndiGo suspends flight services from city for tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: In view of severe cyclonic storm ‘Titli’ which is expected to make landfall on Thursday morning between Gopalpur and Kalangapatnam, at least five IndiGo flight services from Bhubaneswar.

Sources said the airlines authorities have suspended flight services to Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Mumbai for tomorrow.

Earlier in the day, the Railways decided to restrict train services between Khurda Road and Vizianagaram route from both side after 10 pm on Wednesday, till further advice as a precautionary measure.

Some trains have been rescheduled while some have been diverted.

The very cyclone storm ‘Titli’, which will make landfall between Gopalpur and Kalingapatnam at 5.30 am on Thursday morning, may trigger heavy rain accompanied by strong winds blowing at 165 kmph.

Meanwhile, schools and colleges across Odisha will be closed for two days starting Thursday in view of the very cyclonic storm.
