Bhubaneswar, March 26: With the Rama Navami Festival set to begin tomorrow and continue for the next eight days across several districts in the Central Range, Dr. Satyajit Naik, Inspector General of Police, Central Range, chaired a crucial review meeting to assess the preparedness of police forces for the event.

Dr. Naik conducted a video conference with the Superintendents of Police from seven key districts—Cuttack, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, and Jajpur—to emphasize the importance of maintaining strict law and order. He highlighted the need for robust traffic management and effective crowd control throughout the festival. Dr. Naik urged the district police to remain vigilant, adopt preventive measures, and ensure the safety of all participants.

Furthermore, Dr. Naik appealed to the public to cooperate with law enforcement, adhere to safety guidelines, and promptly report any suspicious or unlawful activities to the authorities.

The Central Range Police are fully committed to providing a secure and peaceful environment for the duration of the Ramnavami Festival, ensuring a safe celebration for all.
