Three youths arrested with 17 grams of brown sugar in Bhadrak

Bhadrak, Jan 15: Bhadrak Rural Police has nabbed three brown sugar peddlers at RD square in Bhadrak on Saturday. Around 17 grams of brown sugar has been recovered from their possession during an MV checking in the evening. The accused have been identified as Chandan Mallick, Sayed Ajal Ahmed, hailing from the Bhadrak area, and Mukunda Murari Das of Jajpur. Sources said Bhadrak Rural police was conducting an MV checking at the RD Square. Meanwhile, a speeding bike was intercepted out of suspect. During the search, 17 grams of brown sugar was recovered from the bike dikki. Subsequently, the three offenders were detained and forwarded to the Court later. A case has been registered in this connection. Further investigation is underway, to bust the whole chain of the drug peddlers, said the IIC, Bhadrak Rural Police Station.
