Bhubaneswar, Sep 18: Commissionerate police on Saturday arrested three youths for allegedly swapping SIM cards for committing cybercrimes. Besides, a huge cache of illegal SIMs and mobiles have been seized from their possession. Sources said a cyber fraud gang was trading illegal SIM cards across the state. They were selling the cards to customers with special numbers. Subsequently, they were calling the users and warning them that the SIMs will be invalid unless they are reactivated according to their voice instructions. During the conversation, they were tactfully having the OTP, Aadhar details of the user and duping money from their bank accounts. Getting concrete input on it, the special squad of police nabbed the three accused from Cuttack late on Friday night.
