Three workers die of asphyxiation in Odisha’s Gajapati

Gajapati, July 7: At least three workers died of asphyxiation at chowmin factory at Narayan Nagar in Mohana area of Gajapati district.
Sources said the three workers were engaged in chowmin supply to various shops. After completion of work yesterday, the workers forgot to switch off the LPG gas. It is believed that the trio died of asphyxiation due to the gas.
Being informed, police reached the spot and recovered the bodies before sending them for post-mortem to a nearby hospital. Police have also started an investigation into the matter.
