Three private hospitals in Odisha to procure Covishield

Bhubaneswar, May 19: Three private hospitals in Odisha have contracted Serum Institute of India for 12000 doses of Covishield vaccine each. The private hospitals are SUM Hospital in Bhubaneswar, Christian Hospital in Berhampur and Kishore Hospital in Bargarh. The Health department has asked all private hospitals procuring Covid-19 vaccines to register on CoWIN and that should be made active by the concerned district administrations. The department has made mandatory for the private hospitals to offer vaccination services only through CoWIN system and the hospitals must declare the vaccines and prices on CoWIN. The hospitals have also been asked to inform the citizens that they may seek a vaccination certificate from the center before leaving.
