Cuttack, July 20: Three people were killed and one person sustained critical injuries after two fish-laden trucks collided at Kusunpur on the Cuttack–Chandbali road.

According to reports, the accident occurred while the two trucks were travelling from Cuttack towards Paradip. The vehicles collided with each other, resulting in the death of three people on the spot. Another person was seriously injured and was rushed to Nischintakoili Hospital for treatment.

Police reached the accident site, seized both trucks, and have initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the collision.

Following the accident, a large number of fish spilled from the damaged trucks, and local residents were seen collecting and carrying them away from the spot.
