Bhubaneswar, Aug 30: With the internal rift within the Congress party coming to the fore, Odisha Congress in-charge A Chellakumar on Monday said indiscipline activities would not be tolerated in the party. Chellakumar arrived here on a four-day visit to Odisha. Reacting to the fallout between OPCC chief Niranjan Patnaik and party chief whip Tara Bahinipati, Chellakumar said, "Those who want to quit Congress, can do so. Many have left the party, but Congress has only become powerful. People who love party's ideology and trust its leadership will stay." He said the party would not take any disciplinary action against Bahinipati as he has already accepted his mistake. Earlier changing his stand, Tara described Niranjan Patnaik as ‘big brother’. Tara said that he has changed his mood and would work as per the direction of the party chief.
