Ahmedabad, Feb 6: Board of Control for Cricket of India(BCCI) and Team India paid a heartfelt tribute to the demised legendary singer, Lata Mangeshkar on  Sunday. As ultimate regard to the melody queen, the team India players wore black armbands while landing on the pitch at Narendra Modi Stadium amid the match with the West Indies. The Rohit Sharma-led Team India wore black armbands during the 1st ODI in memory of legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar, who passed away on Sunday morning. Taking to the official Twitter account, the BCCI said “The Indian Cricket Team is wearing black armbands today to pay their respects to Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar Ji who left for her heavenly abode on Sunday morning.
