Cuttack: The Cuttack-A and Cuttack-B teams will face Bhubaneswar-A and Khurda-A teams respectively in the semifinals of the Youth Boys’ team championship of the 31st Inter Districts and State Table Tennis Championship at Biju Pattnaik Multipurpose Indoor Hall at Cuttack on Saturday.
The umpires R Krishna Kumar, Sujit Ray, Tapan Kha, Bijen Das Mahapatra, Jeevan Bhallav Samal, K V P Rama Rao, Sudip Chakraborty are conducting the completion
Cuttack-A (represented by Takmil Mohammed, Jigyanshu Sahoo, Ayan Mustaque), BBSR TT Association-A (represented by Rudra Narayan Gouda, Somnath Subudhi, Soumyajit Pradhan), Cuttack-B (represented by Zaid Khan, Sayed Arsh Ali, Subhankar, Tamim Ubaid) and Khurda TT Association-A (represented by Ayushaman Pati, Jayatshu Dasgupta)
The competition inaugurated on Friday by Abhijit Paul, Secretary, Odisha Olympic Association was the Chief Guest. He got introduced to the players and lit the lamp. All the office bearers of Odisha State Table Tennis Association were present.
In this competition, Team Championships are being held in Men’s and Youth (U-19) Boy’s only. From Saturday, 13 individual events will be held. The Competition will go on for five days till 25th November. In this completion, 15 Districts and 7 institutions consisting of 370 players (Male and Female) participants are taking part.
