Teacher arrested for marrying four women in Odisha

Cuttack, Feb 19: An art teacher of a High School in the district was arrested today by the Mahila police station for allegedly marrying four women, including two during Covid-19 lockdown. The accused had been identified as Krushna Chandra Nayak who works in the Gopinathpur High School. As per reports, Nayak had first married to a girl hailing from Cuttack in 2001. However, he did not stay with his wife few days after marriage. Nayak later married to another woman though he had not divorce his first wife. Subsequently Nayak married two the women during the lockdown. The first and third wife of the teacher lodged separate police complaint and the teacher was arrested today.
