Tata Steel Foundation felicitates hockey player Namsi Jarika

Kalinganagar, July 1: Tata Steel Foundation (TSF) hosted a felicitation programme for Namsi Jarika, captain of the junior hockey team of the state of Odisha on Thursday. She had recently won silver medal in the recently concluded Khelo India Youth Game, 2022. Debdoot Mohanty, Chief Corporate Services, Tata Steel, Kalinganagar and Allen Joseph Head, TSF, Kalinganagar along with other officials of Tata Steel and Tata Steel Foundation attended the programme. Around 50 players and six coaches from different training centers run by the Tata Steel Foundation in Kalinganagar also participated in the event. During the programme, Debdoot Mohanty interacted with Namsi and all the budding sports trainees of TSF. Namsi Jarika shared her story of struggle and hard work to reach with the budding players. She gave the credit to her family and coaches especially at Naval Tata Hockey Academy for supporting her to reach this level. She has been working hard to get into the national hockey team.
